Arlene and Cindy have over 40 years combined experience working with seniors and their families in a well-known centre that specializes in aging and brain health. They co-authored a published article entitled, “Negotiating Relationship Contexts in Gerontological Social Work Practice” and continue to be engaged in research activities in their individual areas of interest.
Local and national media including CBC Radio World Report, Global News and the Globe and Mail have sought out Arlene and Cindy’s expertise to speak on topics related to seniors and aging. They are committed to maintaining close ties with local universities by regularly providing field instruction to Masters of Social Work candidates and participating in speaking engagements.
Arlene and Cindy are in excellent standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
